Either in the training day or in the Wokshop proper, we need to mention that the [UK Met Office is migrating from MOSRS, Subversion, FCM (and Cylc 7) to GitHub, Git, FAB (and Cylc 8) by March 2026, with a MOSRS freeze in October 2025](https://github.com/MetOffice/simulation-systems/discussions/337). We probably need to estimate the demand for Cylc 8 and GitHub training, especially in relation to any new working practices for Cylc 8 workflows maintained on GitHub.
