AMOS 2025 is taking place 23-27 June 2025 in Cairns. The call for session proposals is out now, see below. Last year we had a session on ‘Atmospheric Modelling in Weather and Climate Science’, which could be a good forum for a lot of our work ---

Here’s a suggestion slightly evolved from the last AMOS conference in Feb. Feel free to suggest edits, though I will submit around 5pm AEST today - sorry for the late notice! Also feel free to self-nominate to be a convenor 🙂 **Session title** : Atmospheric Modelling in Weather and Climate Science **Session description (150 words)**: This session will bring together the community that develops, evaluates, and applies atmospheric models to advance the understanding of weather and climate across the full range of scales. Presentations using all types of atmospheric models, from regional to global models, from weather forecasting to seasonal prediction and/or climate projections, are invited. The main purpose of the session is to continue to build the cross-institutional atmospheric modelling community, coordinate current initiatives in atmospheric modelling research and evaluation, and discuss future plans. Overview presentations of major past, present or future modelling activities and coordination focus that are of interest to the wider community are particularly welcomed.
