# ANTS environent releases

This topic is used to announce new releases of the `ants` environment.  
The `ants` environment is released as part of the [containerised-environments-infra](https://github.com/ACCESS-NRI/containerised-environments-infra) repository.

# 🚀 ants 3.2.0

[ANTS](https://github.com/MetOffice/ANTS#ants) is a versatile Python library for developing ancillary applications, developed by the UK MetOffice.

## How to use

```auto
module use /g/data/vk83/modules
module load ants/3.2.0

```

> You need to be a member of the [vk83](https://my.nci.org.au/mancini/project/vk83) NCI project.

## Notes

Released through the [containerised-environments-infra](https://github.com/ACCESS-NRI/containerised-environments-infra) repository.

## Limitations

🛑 Due to strict dependency pinning in the `ants` package, installing additional dependencies in this environment will only be considered when possible.
