Hi COSIMA,

Only 4 sleeps to go until the COSIMA Workshop and Hackathon in Melbourne!! Here is a summary of everything you need to know:

- **Monday - Hackathon**  **at 10am** (coffee from 9am). [Schedule is here](https://forum.access-hive.org.au/t/cosima-2-day-hackathon-v5-0-monday-sep-8-tuesday-sep-9-2025/4794). Please have a think about which group you will split into for the 10:15am session: [G1: Intro to COSIMA Recipes](https://forum.access-hive.org.au/t/cosima-hackathon-g1-training/2195/3), [G2: Learning to contribute and submit PRs](https://forum.access-hive.org.au/t/cosima-hackathon-2025-g2-training/5161), G3: Learning to review PRs, G4: Straight into hacking.

- **Monday - Annual COSIMA Bocce Tournament at 3:45pm** at Carlton Gardens. Snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments provided. BYO drinks (there is a shop on the walk there). 🏆 🍻

- **Tuesday - Hackathon starts at 9am**. There is also [ACCESS-NRI training](https://www.access-nri.org.au/access-community-workshop-2025/training-day-program/) you may want to check out. You will be able to swap between hacking and training during the day as you like.

- **Wednesday and Thursday: ACCESS Workshop**. [Schedule is here](https://www.access-nri.org.au/access-community-workshop-2025/main-workshop-program/), with lots of COSIMA talks and posters.

- **Thursday 5:50pm: COSIMA Dinner Cruise at Federation Wharf.** If you are not signed up, but want to come, talk to Adele or Taimoor.

- **Friday COSIMA Workshop, 9am - 4pm**. Lots more talks and posters, [schedule here](https://www.access-nri.org.au/access-community-workshop-2025/working-group-programs/#COSIMA).

**COSIMA Awards**  **will be given out at 3:35pm on Friday**. In addition to the _Most Selfless Contributor Award_, the following awards are up for grabs (with amazing pottery prizes 🍵 🍶 🏺):

These awards are open to everybody who is joining the COSIMA Workshop Day on Friday, independent of whether you present on Wednesday/Thursday or Friday.
