## Workshop poll

There is a dedicated topic for [discussing the ESM Working Group participation in the ACCESS-NRI Workshop](https://forum.access-hive.org.au/t/access-nri-workshop/876/) and there is now a live poll to get some idea of interest in attending the workshop, and the dedicated ESM session:

> [@ACCESS-NRI Workshop](https://forum.access-hive.org.au/t/access-nri-workshop/876/3):
>
> Workshop Participation We would like to get some indication of who from the ESM community are planning on attending the workshop (2023-09-04T14:00:00Z (UTC)→2023-09-05T14:00:00Z (UTC)), and in particular who, and how many, would attend a separate ESM Working Group day (2023-09-06T14:00:00Z (UTC)). [poll](https://forum.access-hive.org.au/t/access-nri-workshop/876/3)[poll](https://forum.access-hive.org.au/t/access-nri-workshop/876/3)[poll](https://forum.access-hive.org.au/t/access-nri-workshop/876/3) Please participate in the poll, and encourage any ESM community members who will be attending to also answer the poll

Please vote in the poll, and encourage anyone else in the ESM community to do so too.

## Compute resources

The [guidelines for accessing working group compute resources](https://forum.access-hive.org.au/t/esm-working-group-resource-allocation-guidelines/799)outline a process for deciding who gets what.

Experiments run in **2023.q2** :

>
> Experiment title: ACCESS-CM2 SSP scenario ensemble run from R6 to R10 Summary: To extend the ensemble member of ACCESS-CM2 scenario experiments for CMIP6, we extend the previous 5 ensemble members to 10. The ensemble members from the r6 to the r10 were being run here recently. Totally 12 experiments were running on lg87: 4 for SSP126, 4 for SSP245, 4 for SSP370 and 4 for SSP585. Scientific motivation: This ensemble member runs are multiple simulations of ACCESS-CM2 model that differ in in…

> Experiment title: Investigating the Impact of Perturbing Low Cloud-SST Feedback on ENSO Occurrence Summary: Xie’s group identified the strong feedback between low cloud cover and sea surface temperature (SST) in the northeast Pacific (NEP), which amplifies SST variations and influences El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) events. The research aims to investigate this relationship by implementing the Random Parameter version 2 scheme (RP2) in the UM atmosphere model to assess the impact of pe…

## Sharing experiments

Sharing your experiment with the community encourages collaborations, increasing the impact of your science. You can share an experiment by starting a new topic in this sub-category

> **[Experiments](https://forum.access-hive.org.au/c/esm/experiments/50)**
>
> This category is where you can start a topic to describe an experiment you wish to share with the wider community. In most cases this would be an experiment you have run yourself, or done in collaboration with others.
