### Update on ESM WG meetings for the rest of 2025

An opportunity for a science presentation has come up, and we’ll be holding an extra ESM WG meeting on Thursday 4 December at 1PM AEDT.

Dakuan Yu from The Max Planck Institute for Meteorology will be presenting on _ **ENSO optimization for ICON Earth System Model** _, detailing development work on the new MPI ICON-XPP model for CMIP7.

With this additional meeting, the new schedule for the rest of the year will be:

- **Thursday 4 December 1pm AEDT:** ESM WG meeting with science presentation
- **Tuesday 9 December at 10:30am AEDT** : The second CM3 dev-eval meeting (see [here](https://forum.access-hive.org.au/t/cm3-dev-eval-working-group-meeting-minutes-2025/5393/3) for an agenda).

Prior to each meeting, a reminder post will be added to this thread.
