In NCI downtime I was planning to review and add to the[experiments page](https://forum.access-hive.org.au/t/esm1-6-spin-up-experiments/4219). Apart from the experiments listed here being quite numerous, the Headline of the page is that these are “SpinUp” experiments. Should we include instead a new page characterizing the FastTrack “Production Runs”?

Hi Jhan

I’ve started a page here:

> **[Experiments - ACCESS-ESM1.6-Configs](https://access-esm1p6-configs--904.org.readthedocs.build/experiments/)**

The page doesn’t quite make sense fully because it relies on some work yet to be done (moving data to `jq44` for example)

I think it sort of overlaps your suggestion, although some of the other details we will treat as a whole model detail rather than a by experiment detail. (e.g. cost is always about 1kSU per year) The details related to the whole model / all experiments are more likely to end up in other sections of the config documentation website, or the release note for the the model.

Hello Anton, all,

Could you please provide more information on how to start an ACCESS-ESM1.6 exp. from pre-industrial control, concentration driven?

In [Experiments - ACCESS-ESM1.6-Configs](https://access-esm1p6-configs--904.org.readthedocs.build/experiments/) it points to runs on jq44, but either there is nothing or I can’t access this (I requested access to jq44 yesterday morning in case). There is also a long list of exp. in [ESM1.6 Spin-up experiments](https://forum.access-hive.org.au/t/esm1-6-spin-up-experiments/4219) but I am not sure which one is the final release.

From [GitHub - ACCESS-NRI/access-esm1.6-configs: Standard ACCESS-ESM1.6 configurations released and supported by ACCESS-NRI. Admins: @Whyborn, @blimlim, @anton-seaice · GitHub](https://github.com/ACCESS-NRI/access-esm1.6-configs/tree/main) it is not clear how to clone the exp.

I am interested in running exp. for the CMIP7 fast track, but a bit confused as how to start.

Thanks,

Laurie

Hi Laurie

Sorry, i should have added some more context. The experiments page is a draft for where data will end up - it should be available in September.

I believe @spencerwong has emailed you today about running experiments and timelines for that.

Cheers
