Ah!  
Yes dask clients have their own way to manage warnings.  
You can see a related approach to remove warnings with the dask client enabled [here](https://forum.access-hive.org.au/t/xarray-warnings-while-loading-data-using-cosima-cookbook/2169/7). Maybe a related approach would work in your case too.
