# New Sub-collection: ESMValTool ERA5 Daily Datasets

This is a prerelease dataset and consists of selected ERA5 variables presented at daily frequencies.

The original hourly data from the “ERA5 hourly data on single levels” and “ERA5 hourly data on pressure levels” collections have been transformed into daily means using the ESMValTool (v2.10) Python package.

Both the datasets and their associated metadata are provided in a format compatible with the ESMValTool Python package, which is supported by ACCESS-NRI.
