Hi all. There are some updates.

[AI/ML in Applied Meteorology and Modelling: Opportunities and Challenges in: Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society - Ahead of print](https://journals.ametsoc.org/view/journals/bams/aop/BAMS-D-26-0143.1/BAMS-D-26-0143.1.xml) outlines a Momentum partnership machine learning hackathon, held across multiple sites, in late November 2025. PyEarthTools was significantly utilised, along with Anemoi, _scores_ and CSET.

Stephen Haddad from the UK Met Office recently delivered a PyEarthTools training session, which you can find online here ([https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSOaT6xDOSQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSOaT6xDOSQ) ) and may be a useful resource for others looking to get started with ML for Earth system science generally, or with a specific PyEarthTools focus.
