# Request access to rAM3 configurations and source code

With the MOSRS Subversion server reaching end of life, the suite/configuration will be moving to Github relatively shortly. We are still working out exactly how our version will interact with the UKMO’s [Regional Nesting Suite](https://github.com/MetOffice/Regional-Nesting-Suite). Whatever the decision is, their version of the suite is private, so our version will also be private by necessity. This also applies to the source code.

Before we can grant you access to the configuration (when it’s moved to Github) or the source code, we **MUST** verify you are covered by the **licence**. If you haven’t used a model covered by the UKMO Momentum licence before:

- if you are a member of one of ACCESS-NRI’s partner university, please follow [this process](https://forum.access-hive.org.au/t/accessing-ukmo-licensed-models/6168).
- if you are a member of the CSIRO or BoM, get in contact with [your institutional sponsor](https://opus.nci.org.au/spaces/DAE/pages/249495608/Prerequisites).

You also need to **request access to the UK MetOffice’s GitHub organisation**. See [these instructions](https://forum.access-hive.org.au/t/how-to-gain-access-to-metoffices-github-private-repositories/6342) to gain access. The process can be slow.

**Once you have finished the process, [contact us](https://forum.access-hive.org.au/new-message?&title=GitHub%20handle%20for%20access%20to%20ACCESS-rAM3%20repositories&username=clairecarouge%2Cpaulleopardi%2Clachlanswhyborn) with**:

- your full name
- your GitHub handle if not already linked with your forum account
- what access you need (configurations and/or what source codes).

We will verify that you are properly licensed, then grant you access to the relevant repositories.
