Rose-cylc stopped working

Bizarre- unfortunately, I don’t think I have any more ideas as to what could be wrong for now. Will you have your machine at the workshop? Can potentially do some debugging in person then.

Actually, would you be able to try with Cylc8 and see what happens? Bit of a spoiler for the training next week, but we have new docs for running AM3 with cylc8. One thing we did remove was the root-config-dir from the rose-suite.conf, as it does not do anything in Cylc8.

I’ll come back to this later. Running immediately with cylc8 doesn’t work. I started working backwards through the tutorial. I got all the way back to checking persistent-sessions setup.
I dont know why should fail when it has worked for years.

gadi:access-am3-configs> echo $CYLC_SESSION
cylc.jxs599.p66.ps.gadi.nci.org.au

gadi:access-am3-configs> cat ~/.persistent-sessions/cylc-session
cylc.jxs599.p66.ps.gadi.nci.org.au

gadi:access-am3-configs> persistent-sessions list
