ACCESS-OM3 crash: ERROR reading in filename

Crowd-sourcing another ACCESS-OM3 crash that I can’t figure out. I ran it successfully for a year with the perturbed wind file for 1975, but now when I try to get it to switch to the new wind files for 1976 it is not happy.

Now I get the error ERROR reading in filename.

But the new wind files are definitely in work/INPUT, were produced in exactly the same way as the 1975 ones that ran fine, and have identical metadata to the original JRA55-do 1976 ones. I’m struggling to figure out why it doesn’t like them.

Wondering if it’s due to the restart not matching what it expects from datm.streams.xml if you changed that after running the first year? Maybe try skip_restart_read = .true. in datm_in?
