Agenda:
- Admin: Volunteer for taking today’s meeting minutes to post here on the Forum.
- Post-processing AUS2200 model output with ACCESS-MOPPeR: an overview by Paola Petrelli and Sam Green from CMS-CLEX (15 + 10mins).
MOPPeR started as replacement for the APP4, used to produce CMIP6 output. It manages the entire workflow of producing CMIP-style variables starting from raw model output. It will map, extract and write variables to well-documented files. It can also calculate derived variables or resample them to different time frequencies. The mapping, output standards and calculations can all be customised by the user, which makes MOPPeR a lot more flexible than the previous tool. Welcome feedback and collaboration to add more settings and calculations to the tool. - Discussion: Do we want an Atmosphere Cookbook? (15-20mins)
Collation of ‘recipes’ (i.e., Jupyter notebooks) with examples for analysing output from atmosphere models using data loaded from NRI-Intake catalogue.- Navid Constantinou will give a short presentation on how the Cosima Cookbook-Recipes formed and how it functions.
- WG Compute Resources user report (5mins)
Sonya Fiddes will give a short presentation on the proposal/results from her `Fixing DMS Ancillary files in ACCESS-AM2 runs’ experiment. - Compute/storage resources for Atmosphere WG (Heidi)
