Creating a PyEarthTools user forum discussion thread
Hi all. There are some updates.
AI/ML in Applied Meteorology and Modelling: Opportunities and Challenges in: Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society - Ahead of print outlines a Momentum partnership machine learning hackathon, held across multiple sites, in late November 2025. PyEarthTools was significantly utilised, along with Anemoi, scores and CSET.
Stephen Haddad from the UK Met Office recently delivered a PyEarthTools training session, which you can find online here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSOaT6xDOSQ ) and may be a useful resource for others looking to get started with ML for Earth system science generally, or with a specific PyEarthTools focus.
