Running Paraview on gadi

Hi

Is anyone using Paraview on gadi? I tried to follow the instruction on gadi without success. Particularly, I am confused about the third step, which I cannot run neither on gadi nor my local computer: $ ssh -L11111:gadi-cpu-clx-1234:11111 your_user_name@gadi.nci.org.au.

I’d like to check Paraview for quick visualization of MODIS data in HDF format, where ncview does not work. If you may have any experience, I would really appreciate your help.

Hi Qinggang,

The most convenient way is to use ARE VDI to run Paraview.

You could also try some other instructions
