ACCESS Community Datapool
We’re pleased to announce the release of the ACCESS Community Datapool, hosted at NCI within project av17.
The ACCESS Community Datapool supports the sharing of datasets that are valuable to the ACCESS community but may not yet be ready or appropriate for formal data publication. This may include model output, reanalysis, observations and other datasets of community value. The Datapool provides minimal data management support to enable a quick and flexible data sharing option. Where compatible, datasets can also be enabled to work with the ACCESS-NRI Intake Catalogue. Support (including storage) is funded through the ACCESS-NRI Merit Allocation scheme, with allocations made based on the dataset’s relevance and benefit to the community.
The Datapool is ideal for data that:
is stable
could be of interest to the broader ACCESS community
does not currently require Curated Dataset functionality (DOI, NCI catalogue entry, public access)
How to access the Datapool
To access the ACCESS Community Datapool, request membership to the av17 NCI project. Once approved, datasets are available on Gadi under /g/data/av17/access-nri.
