Description
Coupled climate models have notoriously large biases in the Southern Ocean affecting the Southern Ocean overturning, temperature/salinity characteristics, and currents. The aim of this work is to assess the Southern Ocean state in the CMIP7 (fast-track) models and to inform the community about biases in the models’ representation of the Southern Ocean.
