Only 4 sleeps to go until the COSIMA Workshop and Hackathon in Melbourne!! Here is a summary of everything you need to know:

Monday - Hackathon at 10am (coffee from 9am). Schedule is here. Please have a think about which group you will split into for the 10:15am session: G1: Intro to COSIMA Recipes, G2: Learning to contribute and submit PRs, G3: Learning to review PRs, G4: Straight into hacking.
The Hackathon project board has a huge list of tasks to work on - feel free to allocate yourself to something.
This year’s Hackathon dress up theme (Monday AND Tuesday) is: extravagant op-shop find.

Monday - Annual COSIMA Bocce Tournament at 3:45pm at Carlton Gardens. Snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments provided. BYO drinks (there is a shop on the walk there).

Tuesday - Hackathon starts at 9am. There is also ACCESS-NRI training you may want to check out. You will be able to swap between hacking and training during the day as you like.

Wednesday and Thursday: ACCESS Workshop. Schedule is here, with lots of COSIMA talks and posters.

Thursday 5:50pm: COSIMA Dinner Cruise at Federation Wharf. If you are not signed up, but want to come, talk to Adele or Taimoor.

Friday COSIMA Workshop, 9am - 4pm. Lots more talks and posters, schedule here.
COSIMA Awards will be given out at 3:35pm on Friday. In addition to the Most Selfless Contributor Award, the following awards are up for grabs (with amazing pottery prizes 
):
- Best Student or ECR Poster
- Most Creative Lightning Talk
- Best Student or ECR Inquisitor (for asking good questions)
- Best Hackathon Costume
- COSIMA Bocce Trophy
These awards are open to everybody who is joining the COSIMA Workshop Day on Friday, independent of whether you present on Wednesday/Thursday or Friday.
