NCI_era5grib - WRF crash?

Hi there,

I am trying use the codes from era5grib for WRF. However, upon a few different attempts, codes didn’t run. I keep getting this error:

welcome to the ACCESS-Hive Forum!

The traceback you posted is incomplete, it lacks the actual raised exception (error). Would you be able to provide the full traceback including the exception print?

From the traceback you shared, it seems to be an error related to internal index selection happening within xarray (called by era5grib), but I cannot understand the actual issue without the full traceback.

The issue seems to be related to xarray not finding all the “time” indexes specified through conf.get_time_range()

I am not familiar with era5grib, but if you share the command that you ran (that resulted in this error), I can try to reproduce the error and understand what is going on.

Sure thing,
Here is the line I ran:

era5grib wrf --namelist namelist.wps --geo geo_em.d01.nc --output GRIBFILE.AAA

I got my information from this page:
GitHub - ACCESS-Community-Hub/era5grib: Convert NCI ERA5 archive data to GRIB format (Legacy run option)

I also tried another way from this page - Common use cases:

era5grib -f wrf_era5 --namelist namelist.wps --geo geo_em.d01.nc --output GRIBFILE.AAA

But here, I got this error:
Model configuration: wrf_era5 does not exist
