The Bureau and NCI have published new AGCD datasets on NCI in the zv2 project. Here is the detail sent via email:

We are pleased to announce the release of two new snapshots of the Bureau of Meteorology’s Australian Gridded Climate Data (AGCD). These two snapshots now cover data up to 2025-12-31:

Australian Gridded Climate Data (AGCD) v1.0.4: AGCD v1.0.4 Snapshot (1900-01-01 to 2025-12-31). Australian Gridded Climate Data (AGCD) / Australian Water Availability Project (AWAP) is the Bureau of Meteorology’s official dataset for climate analyses covering the variables of rainfall, temperature (maximum and minimum) as well as vapour pressure at daily and monthly timescales. The dataset provides consistent temporal and spatial analyses across Australia for each observed data variable. This accounts for spatial and temporal gaps in observations. Where possible, the gridded analysis techniques provide useful estimates in data-sparse regions such as central Australia.
