Paul Charles Dominic Leopardi: The CMIP7-Input project: from forcing datasets to model config inputs
The ACCESS-NRI CMIP7 Input project provides workflows and provenance for CMIP7 forcings, that transforms the data in the prescribed CMIP7 datasets into the ancillary files and namelist files that ACCESS climate models use in experiments. The workflow for ACCESS-ESM1.6 is well under development and is expected to be mature by the time of the workshop. The workflow for ACCESS-ESM3 is in the planning stage at the time of abstract submission and is being considered for joint CMIP7 forcing workflow development in collaboration with the UK Met Office. The talk will provide an update on current status and future plans.
