Spencer Wong: ACCESS-ESM1.6 Releases: Configurations and Data

ACCESS-ESM1.6 is a global earth system model being used for CMIP7 Fast-Track experiments. These Fast-Track experiments are targeted to provide data for IPCC Seventh Assessment round. ACCESS-NRI is releasing and supporting ESM1.6 for use by researchers and the climate community. This talk covers the model software, the supported configurations and the data being released. The release can be used independently of the data storage and processes for CMIP7, however the talk will elucidate the connections between ESM1.6 release and the experiments being run by CSIRO for CMIP7. The talk also covers some tools used to prepare model configurations and post-process experiment output.
