The 5th workshop on waves and wave-coupled processes (10-12 April 2024): Overview · ECMWF Events (Indico) will take place in Reading, UK in April 2024, and it is free to attend remotely for non-presenters.
Wondering if anyone from the NRI side is planning to attend? We are hoping to send people working on COMPAS-SWAN coupling and SCHISM-WWM3 use, as well as @AlbertoMeucci who is a global/regional wave modeller (WWIII). Wondering if @aekiss or anyone from that team is also likely to attend in person?

Thanks @dougiesquire
Slides and videos from this workshop are now available here ECMWF Events - quite a few look relevant to ACCESS-OM3.

Thanks @aekiss for sharing the slides, there are some useful talks relevant to OM3. I will have a look.
@navidcy, @micael there’s a mention in Momme Hell’s talk and slides of plans to develop a NUOPC cap for Julia code. An approach like this could make it possible to couple Oceananigans with Fortran components, e.g. to replace MOM6 with Oceananigans in an ACCESS-OM3-like coupled configuration.
@navidcy, @micael Here’s a prototype NUOPC cap for a Julia model component to enable coupling it to conventional Fortran model components: Add NUOPC prototype demonstrating coupling a Julia-based component by billsacks · Pull Request #5 · esmf-org/nuopc-app-prototypes · GitHub
@kieranricardo may well be interested too.
Thanks!!!
