Dear community
I plan to run an ACCESS-AM3 N96 AMIP-style control simulation from 1982-2012 with prognostic aerosols and COSP1 diagnostics. I have requested resources here.
This post aims to gather community research interests in this control simulation, design output variables together, and share simulation status once finished. Please feel free to discuss informally here if you have any research ideas to explore. I could also share my analysis scripts on the simulation.
I have configured more than 120 output variables related to clouds and radiation here. If you see a value of this control simulation for your research, please let me know any additional variables you request, including the variable name, isec, item, frequency, levels, etc., as on the sheet.
On the table, Monthly hourly mean means that I output hourly means for each UTC hour for each month for diurnal cycle analysis, without outputting hourly values (including Qc, QCF, QCL, Qrain, TOTAL CLOUD AMOUNT ON LEVELS). For 3D variables, I output hourly values for seven variables (u, v, omega, q, p, t, z) on all model levels.
For requested variables, please let me know before 6pm this Thursday 12 Mar. I understand the schedule is harsh, but I have to get the simulation run before 15 Mar to fully explore resources of this quarter.
Regards, Qinggang
