My experience is that um2netcdf.py is a varied beast and there are somewhere up to 20 versions floating around. The bottom line though is that these variations are mostly cosmetic or suite specific, so as long as you can find the data you want, you should be OK.

Hi Arnold, the um2necdf script will be available in the future within other set of tools to manipulate ACCESS ancillary files.
