Hi COSIMA,
We’re starting a monthly ACCESS-OM3 Science Community Evaluation meeting, in preparation for the COSIMA Hackathon in November. The first meeting will be at 4pm Thursday 25th June.
If you’d like to join in the evaluation effort, please come along! This is your chance to ensure ACCESS-OM3 is even more awesome for your science than ACCESS-OM2 (you can also be a coauthor on the evaluation paper).
Agenda:
- Overview of existing and planned runs
- Discussion of paper scope / timeline
- How to contribute
- Discussion of how people have been going so far with the mechanisms of contributing - do we need to lower the bar for contributions?
- Allocate unclaimed / abandoned issues to people, and create new issues as desired
- Open floor for people to share and discuss figures they have made
- Dream list and priority of additional runs (sensitivity tests, 8km etc) that we would like to do by November COSIMA evaluation hackathon.
