2026 Cryospheric Sciences Working Group Meetings
The “Cryospheric Sciences Working Group (CSWG)” Meetings are back for 2026! We have adjusted the schedule a little this year to include regular CSWG meetings, as well as our very own “CSWG Seminar Series”!
Please share this information widely amongst your networks - we’d love to broaden the audience of the CSWG to include all aspects of cryospheric science!

CSWG Calendar
To help you keep track of what’s happening, we’ve published a CSWG calendar! There are two options to view the calendar:
- You can view the calendar online here. Don’t forget to bookmark the page so you can revisit it regularly to stay up-to-date!
- You can “subscribe” to the calendar by adding it to your favourite calendar client. There are some useful instructions how how to do this here. 2026 CSWG Meeting Schedule
Regular CSWG meetings will occur on the third Wednesday of every 2 months. The scheduled meetings for 2026 are below:
- February 18, 2026 @ 10:00 - 11:00
- April 15, 2026 @ 10:00 - 11:00
- June 17, 2026 @ 10:00 - 11:00
- August 19, 2026 @ 10:00 - 11:00
- October 21, 2026 @ 10:00 - 11:00
- December 16, 2026 @ 10:00 - 11:00
CSWG Seminar Series
In addition to the regular CSWG meetings above, we will host the “CSWG Seminar Series”, providing a platform for members of our community to share their research, as well as to hear from our international colleagues. We encourage all CSWG members to recommend seminar presenters – please send recommendations to CSWG co-chairs: @mtetley, @fmccormack, @Chen_Zhao, or @lmjong.
Seminars will be announced here on the Hive Forum and added to the CSWG calendar on an as-and-when basis, as they are organised. Stay tuned for more updates!
