Anyone who has created a table in Markdown will know that it is not a nice interface and it is easy to lose track of which cell you are in.
Discourse has an optional Table Builder extension. It allows to build a table using an interface that looks like a table, instead of text with markings. And it adds a nice “Edit table” button as well.
Would people be interested in having that available for the ACCESS-Hive forum?

It is a theme component, so we can add it to our hosted instance. It also supports pasting from Excel and Numbers (and perhaps google sheets?) which is great.
As long as there were no negative effects for existing tables then I’d be all for it. I looked through the comments on the linked topic and the few issues did seem to have been promptly fixed.
