CM3 Dev-Eval meeting
This is a reminder that the next CM3 development and evaluation meeting will be held Tuesday 18 August 2026 at 10:30 AM AEST.
These meetings focus on community analysis of CM3 development simulations, with members providing expertise to evaluate the model’s performance and find areas for improvement. If you have any figures or analysis you would like to share, please add them to the wiki post here. Everyone is welcome to join and contribute!

Latest model developments and status of new simulations.

ACCESS Community Workshop on Land and Coupled Modelling hackathon preparation.
- The hackathon day (Wed 2 August) at the workshop will include a stream on CM3 evaluation. This will involve a discussions on community evaluation of the latest simulations, priorities for future development, and information on getting involved in the CM3 dev-eval meetings.
- The plan is for community members to prepare analysis prior to the Hackathon, and bring it for discussion on the day.
- We’ll use today’s meeting to outline the plans for the hackathon, where you can find data to analyse, and coordinate planned analysis among the community.
