How to gain access to MetOffice's GitHub private repositories

If you are developing an ACCESS model of the 3rd generation with the atmosphere or the land model (such as ACCESS-CM3, AM3, rAM3 or ESM3), you may need read or write access to the UM, JULES or GCOM source codes. These repositories are private for licensing reasons.

To gain access to these private repositories, you need to request access to the MetOffice’s GitHub organisation.

Pre-requisite

1. Have a GitHub account
2. Have a MOSRS account:
   • instructions for ANU, UNSW, UTas (including AAD), Monash Uni and UniMelb
   • instructions for CSIRO, BoM and others
3. Have your institution email, the one you used for your MOSRS account (check here), added to your GitHub account as a verified email address.

Email Scientific_Partnerships@metoffice.gov.uk with your request, specify which private repositories you need access to.
