Inquiry Regarding Soil Properties from ACCESS-ESM1.5 Historical Simulation

Dear ACCESS-ESM scientists,

I am currently working on analyzing the historical simulation output from ACCESS-ESM1.5 as part of the CMIP6 project.

I wanted to inquire if it would be possible to obtain global hydraulic properties, such as wilting point, field capacity, and porosity, for the top 1-meter soil layer. Alternatively, if those properties are not available, would there be soil texture information (e.g., the percentage of clay, sand, and silt) provided in the simulation data?

Thanks for the inquiry. Considering this data isn’t requested for the CMIP6 release, we need to prepare it so you can access it. We’ll get back to you once we have the data for you.
