Julie Arblaster: Development of a global high resolution version of ACCESS AM3
Increasing the resolution of our climate models holds promise for increased fidelity in their ability to simulate present as well as future weather and climate. This talk will detail the development of an N512 (~25 km) resolution version of the ACCESS AM3 by the Centre of Excellence for 21st Century Weather in collaboration with the ACCESS NRI. Some preliminary results as well as the design of some upcoming experiments will be described.
