Experiment title : Tiwi Islands thunderstorm simulations
Summary : A series of short simulations of island thunderstorms testing out different initial conditions.
Scientific motivation: Depending on the chosen setups, the sensitivity of island thunderstorm development to environmental conditions, land surface, sea-surface temperatures, and potentially a globally warmed atmosphere may be tested.
Experiment Name : Tiwi People : Chris Chambers, Yi Huang Model: ACCESS-rAM3 Initial conditions: ERA5 and idealized data Run plan: 6 to 24 hours Total KSUs required : 5 KSU Total storage required : 500 GB Outputs: /scratch/gx60/cc6171/cylc-run/u-dg768/share/cycle/20161212T0000Z/Tiwi/Tiwi_1/RAL3P2/um
I have gone 3 times over my storage estimate and currently have 1.5 TB of output from these simulations in /g/data/gx60/experiments/2025-06-11_tiwi
Would it be possible to get an additional 1.5 TB of storage to a total of 3 TB or would it be best for me to store the simulation output elsewhere?
Thanks!

Hi @cchambers, I can allocate an additional 1.5TB of storage for you to complete your current simulations and analyse the output. Please keep in mind that this is only temporary storage and you may be asked at a later stage to move this data.
