These results are a replacement of the previous ones. We don’t need to keep the first results on me.org.

Just clarifying, we want to overwrite the existing run? If you’d like I can set up another analysis run if you want to keep the existing run for reference. It would take about the same time anyways.

I realise it’s the same time to do either, but we don’t want to keep the first set of results. These are probably not correct to compare to other results so removing them will avoid confusion.

@alexnorton @RachelLaw @inh599 , there is something weird in the results. The comparison to Hoffman for the land source (under “GlobalNetEcosystemCarbonBalance”) shows the opposite compared to what we would expect: ESM1.6 is shown further away from Hoffman than ESM1.5.

Considering there are 2 identical ESM1.6 runs being used, I can’t quite see how it would be explained by a simple swap between the runs in the workflow. So not quite sure what is happening here.

@clairecarouge - my guess is that the plotted result for ESM1.6 does not include the land use change flux (but perhaps the ESM1.5 one does?). We’d need to check how this field has been created from the model output. It could mean that nbp from MOPPy isn’t correct since there are a couple of different ways to calculate it from the model output.

NEE against FLUXCOM also looks odd. ESM1.6 is closer to a mean of zero, as though it was from the preindustrial or start of the historical rather than from present-day.

Thanks both. These issues appear in the original ILAMB results too, so it’s an issue with the processing and not with how MEorg is handling it. I’ve passed on these notes to Rhaegar and Romain
