Description: This breakout session will examine the technical aspects of setting up UM for regional experiments, focussing on timescales beyond short-term forecasts. The aim is to share recent suite development activities and discuss future plans in order to share knowledge and avoid the duplication of work. Topics include nesting in BARRA-R2 reanalysis, new Australia-specific ancillaries, and online suite monitoring.
