@AndyHoggANU Does hybrid perform well?

Answer: running at N216 is slightly worse, because it has been developed at N96. Hybrid, N96 Chem and N216 Physics gives an improvement.

Most of this development is in the trunk. Will be released in due course.

@MartinDix Is N48 being developed?

Yes there is an v1.1 N48 version. Acceptable performance. Does exist. Will try to make UKESM fast version available. Technical aspect understood, tuning aspects can be trickier. Constrained by available people

@JulieA Why didn’t do transient runs?

Not my choice. Feeling that using information from forced signal in historical record pollutes results. Don’t necessarily agree.

Historical evolution is a weak constraint on evaluation. Avoid using historical temperature record or anything affected by historical CO2
