In NCI downtime I was planning to review and add to the experiments page. Apart from the experiments listed here being quite numerous, the Headline of the page is that these are “SpinUp” experiments. Should we include instead a new page characterizing the FastTrack “Production Runs”?
Experiment title :
Summary :
Scientific motivation:
Experiment Name : People : Model: Configuration: Initial conditions: Run plan: Simulation details: Total KSUs required : Total storage required : Storage lifetime : Long term data plan : Outputs: Restarts: Related articles:
The page doesn’t quite make sense fully because it relies on some work yet to be done (moving data to jq44 for example)
I think it sort of overlaps your suggestion, although some of the other details we will treat as a whole model detail rather than a by experiment detail. (e.g. cost is always about 1kSU per year) The details related to the whole model / all experiments are more likely to end up in other sections of the config documentation website, or the release note for the the model.
Could you please provide more information on how to start an ACCESS-ESM1.6 exp. from pre-industrial control, concentration driven?
In Experiments - ACCESS-ESM1.6-Configs it points to runs on jq44, but either there is nothing or I can’t access this (I requested access to jq44 yesterday morning in case). There is also a long list of exp. in ESM1.6 Spin-up experiments but I am not sure which one is the final release.
