Our next Land Surface Modelling Working Group meeting is this Tuesday 19 September at 1.30pm.

Agenda:

  1. Explanation of some changes to the forum to make it easier to find and join the working groups
  2. Feedback on what worked/didn’t work at the workshop
  3. Short-term usage of WG computational resources
  4. Reporting back from the JULES workshop

Agenda:

  1. Presentation by Mengyuan Mu on the CABLE’s groundwater scheme and the evaluation of the scheme in the merged version with CABLE3.
  2. Datasets for the Land Working Group for this financial year:
    The ACCESS-NRI needs input on the working group’s plans for this financial year to start the data management process with NCI. See this topic.
  3. Standard directory structure and file naming for meteorological forcings for CABLE and JULES

Our next Land Surface Modelling Working Group meeting is tomorrow Tuesday 17 October at 1.30pm.

There is currently no agenda, but we will find topics to discuss at the meeting.

A reminder to volunteer to give a presentation of your work. It can be a presentation about work in progress and does not need to be as polished as a presentation at a conference. Presentations should run for about 15-20min.

Don’t worry if you don’t have all the information that is requested. If you can put at least a dataset name and a URL that’s a good start.

Our next Land Surface Modelling Working Group meeting is tomorrow Tuesday 21 November at 1.30pm. I know it is the CLEX workshop this week so it could be a short meeting depending on attendance.

Agenda:

  1. New event capability on the forum. Explanation of how it works.
  2. Using the Land WG storage to consolidate access to some meteorological forcing datasets for CABLE (depending on attendance).

Hi,

The Land Working Group meeting scheduled on 6th February is cancelled since it is during AMOS 2024.

Our next Land Working Group meeting is on 20th February, 1:30pm (see event in first post or the Events calendar).

An agenda will be circulated closer to the date.

Don’t forget to volunteer to give a talk at the Working Group! Our schedule is entirely free for the year.
