ESM Working Group Meeting is CANCELLED

Reminder the ESM Working Group Meeting scheduled for today, Thursday the 12th of September (2024-09-12T03:00:00Z) is cancelled.

The next meeting is scheduled for the 26th (2024-09-26T03:00:00Z) and we currently HAVE NO SPEAKER!

If you have something to present, or know someone else who would be happy to present for 10-20 minutes please get in touch with @Aidan or any of the co-chairs: @eunpalim, @dkhutch, @tiloz, @ShayneM.

3. CMIP7 fast track discussion

  • @RachelLaw will lead the first of the regular series of discussions on the CMIP7 Fast Track, to occur every second meeting. These will involve updates on the model development, spin up, and test simulations and will be an opportunity for the community to provide feedback.
  • This week’s discussion will include a summary of progress since the ACCESS-NRI workshop, with time for questions.

4. Prerelease runtime orbital parameters for ESM1.5

  • @spencerwong will briefly detail how to test the new prerelease ESM1.5 executables.

Reminder the ESM Working Group Meeting scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday the 21st of November (2024-11-21T02:00:00Z) is cancelled.

The final meeting of the year is scheduled for the 5th of December (2024-12-05T02:00:00Z) , where we will hold a second CMIP7 fast track discussion. Meetings will then go on pause until February 2025.
